Hugues Damilot
Hugues is a senior associate in the Funds and Asset Management Practice of LAB Partners.
Hugues advises clients on the set-up and ongoing management of both regulated and unregulated alternative investment funds, with a particular focus on PE/VC, infrastructure and real estate strategies. His practice includes guiding asset managers on fund structuring and regulatory matters, as well as advising private and institutional limited partners – including DFIs – on their primary transactions with AIFs. Hugues has more than 8 years of experience in the alternative investment funds industry.
Prior to joining LAB Partners in 2025, Hugues spent four years in the funds and asset management practice of the Luxembourg office of a major international network firm, serving as senior associate for nearly three of those years. Before that, he worked for four years in the investment funds practice of a leading Luxembourg law firm.
