Olivier Wuidar
Olivier is a founding partner of LAB Partners and is a partner in its Funds and Asset Management Practice.
Olivier has over 20 years of experience in the field of alternative investments, with a particular focus on venture capital, private equity and infrastructure. He assists fund managers in structuring and establishing alternative investment vehicles and also has deep expertise in representing investors in negotiating their investments in alternative funds. His practice also includes secondary transactions involving the disposal or acquisition of fund interests, and fund restructurings. Olivier also has significant experience in corporate transactional work.
Prior to founding LAB Partners, Olivier was a partner in the funds and asset management practice of the Luxembourg office of a Dutch firm (2019-2025) and previously co-headed the funds practice of a Benelux firm based in Luxembourg (2017-2019). Before that, he was Head of VC Investments and Secondary Transactions within the Legal Service of the European Investment Fund (2010-2017). He started his career in the corporate and M&A practice of a Magic Circle firm in Luxembourg (2003-2010).
Olivier is ranked as a Band 4 lawyer in Chambers & Partners – Investment Funds, Luxembourg (Europe and Global).
